No Mac | Yogurt

Tuesday, December 2nd

After a lonely Monday & a pretty boring Tuesday, I decided to see if I could buy my new Macbook at the mall. I've been in need of a new laptop for awhile, because mine tends to crash at the worst possible moments (ie. in the middle of a huge project due the next day). I was going to go alone, but two friends of mine decided to come along, and while it was sort of an impromptu, quick trip to the Apple store, it was a really nice time.

I hadn't hung out with one of my friends in awhile, so it was great to catch up, and my other friend commented that I seemed a lot more comfortable than usual and that it was nice to see my happy side. Lately, I feel like I haven't spent much time with my friends, other than during events for organizations or in very large groups, so it was actually very refreshing to have light fun conversation, even if just for that short hour, with a smaller group of close friends.

Unfortunately I was unable to buy a new Macbook Air, because they did not accept my form of payment, but we did find a Pinkberry at the mall and decided to get froyo which was really nice and made all my other friends a bit jealous (oops!). I genuinely believe that it is the little things in life that make people happy; no amount of money or fame can compare to spending time with friends and family, overcoming small goals and obstacles, etc. and today was just one of those times for me.

I didn't work out yesterday nor did I adhere to my diet, but I think it was worth it, so I don't feel guilty, and I am probably going to get my new laptop within the next two weeks when my accounts process so I'm not completely upset about that either.

Basically a bad day turned out well in the end so it put me in a really nice mood.
