I consider myself to be an incredibly patient person, but it is rather discouraging when people take advantage of this and do not consider my time.
When it comes to favors, I'm very patient. If someone asks a favor, I will most definitely be there for them, and if I ever ask for a favor, I feel indebted to them for quite a while after. I don't forget when people do nice things for me.
What I can't handle is when people agree to do something for me or make promises to me that in turn cause me to give up some of my time or help them in some way, and they don't pull through with their side of the deal. It's discouraging to see myself put more effort into certain relationships than is returned.
