Health Tip #1: Sit Down & Eat
Put your food on a plate, sit down at a table, and then eat. Visualize everything that you are putting into your body; be conscious of how much you are eating and what you are eating. If you need to, take a photo of everything (yes, everything) that you eat so that you can take responsibility for what you are consuming.
Don't eat in the kitchen; rather, separate your cooking space from your eating space so you can eliminate the habit of giving in to cravings. If you make it a rule that you can't eat unless you portion it out on a plate, you are much less likely to eat little snacks. Don't eat from a box; before you know it you will have eaten much more than intended.
Don't scarf down food or eat little handfuls here and there, because neither will satisfy you. The act of sitting down and having a full meal is one of the things that has really helped me become a more healthy individual.
