The Steeping Room | Bowling

Monday, April 20th

Sunday was a fun day actually; in the morning, Michelle & I went out to brunch at a place called The Steeping Room, which specializes in their wide assortment of teas. Of course, I myself ordered a coffee...which was a bit of a disappointment, because it was served to me warm so it didn't have that hot-coffee-satisfaction feeling that fresh coffee usually gives me. Lately I've just been really craving plain old diner coffee. Their brunch was really tasty & I actually managed to finish most of it which surprised me.

Afterwards, I had a meeting, then went home for a bit, then out for some coffee at Vintage Heart, followed by a trip out to the Domain for dinner. Perks of having a boyfriend over 21 - finished his drink which was super yummy.

In the evening, a couple friends and I went to bowl for a couple hours. I won the first two games (by alot, hehe) then came second in the last one, which of course was the only game with something at stake- so I had to buy the first place (boyfriend) Sonic ice cream.

All in all, a good day.

Today has just been class and work and I feel a lot better about things that have been happening, just kind of stressed about a couple projects for class. It's nearing the end of school, and I'm really looking forward to it, though I still don't know what I am doing for summer.

Nothing much else to report - I'm looking forward to this weekend, when I get to see my sister in Waco for the day Saturday.

Until then, I'll just hang in there this week and hopefully get some work done.

Positive things:

  1. Eating well
  2. Not as exhausted
  3. On good terms with friends
