North Italia | Gold Level?!

Sunday, January 25

Saturday night, we went to the Domain for dinner and ate at North Italia; the food was amazing. We ordered their calamari for a starter and it was the most original take on calamari that I have ever had. It was lighter, apparently in tempura batter, and there was some sort of lemon dressing on top and the spinach was amazing as well.

I ordered spinach tortellini and it was the best tortellini I have ever tasted. I can't even describe it.

Calamari

Afterwards, we went to Starbucks, and because of my purchase I reached Gold Level! I've been waiting for this day for forever; honestly I should be Gold by now but sometimes I forget to pay with my Starbucks Rewards card so it's taken me a bit longer.

IM SO HAPPY.

Today, I did some studying (or tried to, at least) then we went to the gym. I realized that I can run quite a bit faster than I thought, but prefer not to because wow I was super tired. I ran one mile in under 8 minutes and then ran another in around 9.

Since, I went to a meeting for an organization I am in, then to HEB for some groceries and home where we are making chicken katsu. I like to cook but I feel a little inadequate because I'm not as good as him.

Tomorrow is the second week of class and the first full week back so I am a bit nervous about that. Hopefully it won't be too bad. My schedule is basically straight 9:30 to 5 tomorrow so I'm kind of dreading the long day but I have a PBJ packed and maybe I'll pick up a coffee at work so it won't be too bad. I've been already kind of slacking on my schoolwork but hopefully now I will pick up the pace a bit now that I'm getting into the routine of things.

Hopefully I won't have to sacrifice my workouts or hanging out with friends tooo much.

Monday, January 26th

Today wasn't too bad- just class and work, then I met up with a friend at Red Mango (wow, shocker) and I hadn't seen her in awhile so it was nice to catch up. After, I went to the gym which was incredibly packed, then home to do some cleaning and studying and such. No excitement really.
