On Sunday, we went to Waco for my nephew's first birthday party. Unfortunately, before we left we had a hard time finding a place to eat breakfast (even though it was noon) that didn't have a long wait. We ended up going to Galaxy Cafe, the one downtown, then left at around 1:30...Basically we were over an hour late to the party. I felt kind of bad but I was still glad to see my sister for some time.
She decorated the place with a Toy Story theme, and made cute cupcakes and mousse and everything was just really adorable. I played with my nephew some and then we left, because it was getting dark.
Back in Austin we went to Kome, a sushi restaurant, which really filled me up but was pretty yummy. I'm not a huge sushi fanatic or anything but I do like it and crave it once in awhile so this was nice. It was really cold - it is really cold lately, and I kind of want it to warm up a bit soon.
Monday was hard on account of having two tests - my computer science one wasn't too awful but the accounting test literally killed me. It was very, very difficult, but everyone seems to think so, so maybe there will be a curve. Who knows.
Tuesday was also kind of difficult for me because I spent most of it studying and was really hungry all day. Today was kind of the same - I had a test for MIS which went okay but I wasn't able to finish because I didn't know how to code a certain validation...overall a stressful test but it was still okay I guess.
Hoping for a good rest of the week now that tests are out of the way but it feels like one thing after another I guess.
