This post is literally about food.
I haven't been feeling well lately; my stomach has been acting up again but I think it may be due to the fact that I've been drinking a little bit too much coffee and not eating enough real meals, along with the fact that I've been eating more sweets recently, but despite feeling a bit unwell I've been indulging in a lot of great food.
I finally had a chance to visit a coffee place I have been meaning to check out for days now because a friend recommended it to me, called Houndstooth. Me and a friend went earlier tonight and ordered cappuccinos which were very, very good. The roast that I chose was slightly citrusy, and it was crafted very nicely - smooth and decadent.
Afterwards, we were really craving donuts so we stopped by Ken's and picked up a couple, which I immediately dug into. Now my stomach is feeling pretty off again, probably due to the unusual amount of sugar.
Thursday, after the Asian Business Students Association meeting, my 'family' went to a place called Snow Monster, which sells really good shaved ice, together. I ordered the milk tea flavor but tried a friend's taro (which is my favorite flavor of like, everything) and wish I had ordered that instead. The shaved ice was really good but I wasn't in the best mood so I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could have. Maybe next time I'll like it better.

On Friday, I went to a new Japanese noodle place near campus called Daito, and realized I'm not the biggest fan of udon noodles. I really liked their soba noodles, but udon just isn't for me. I ordered their vegetable udon and basically ate all of the vegetables, which my friends found funny.
Last night I was craving french fries so we went to Whataburger and it was strangely satisfying. Sometimes, you just gotta give in to fast food cravings.
For dinner today, I checked out a food truck on Burnet Road called Sonora Hot Dogs, and it was probably one of the best hot dogs I have consumed in my life. The price was pretty good - $5 for a hot dog, but it comes with bacon and jalepeno sauce and mayo, which I opted out of because I don't like too many flavors on my foods.
My friend ordered their quesadilla for us all to share and it was absolutely great - steak and a lot of cheese. I would definitely visit this truck again.
Living in Austin, I haven't actually had many opportunities to visit food trucks, which is odd and I hope to in the future be able to eat at some more places. I really liked this one.
Other than all the food, I haven't been up to much other than watching dramas, hanging out, and studying some. I'm definitely food-ed out for now; I think I want to go on a diet for a while, not because I'm worried about my weight but just I think I will feel a lot better after eating all of this delicious, but unhealthy food recently. I think I've satisfied every form of craving I could possibly have this week.
Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow but I do want to make it back to the gym, because I haven't found the motivation to do so for this entire week. I need to do laundry but am putting that off until I absolutely have to.
I'm pretty tired now but my stomach feels a bit odd so I might not be able to sleep for a bit.
